Personally, Wakizashi was amazed she hadn’t been thrown in detention or has had her attention called yet. Yes the spirit was more quiet and serious then her master or her other half, Tachi, but she still procrastinated the same. And school was no different. In the halls she could feel a tense energy. It was familiar. It was the type of presence you could forget easily, as if she’d been around it her whol- oh no.
Right then and there she recognized. Right then and there she could pin point her down. She didn’t even hesitate to run straight towards it. In only seconds she was in front of a large office. Of course, she first mentally congratulated herself on how fast she had made it there. And second, she went through the door and locked it behind her as she faced her fellow zanpakuto spirit once more. A sister, or even a mother to her. After she made sure they were alone, not being watched or heard, as she walked towards her desk.
“Tachi?” she said incredulously. She hadn’t spoken in very long so her voice cracked in the first word but she moved on anyway. “Well at least you found the same place as me.. but how?”
